Japan's Ministry of Economy on February 25, 2008 to the World Trade Organization (WTO)notification under the "Electrical and Materials Act" (the Electrical Appliances and Materials Law), "on appliances and materials, technical requirements Act" (the Ordinance Concerning Technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials) and the "METI approvedunder Decree No. 2 of the other technical requirements" (the other Technical Requirements recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in accordance with Section 2 of the Ordinance) issued by the ministerial Act (G/TBT/N/JPN/247).
The goal of the Human Security Act, the following requirements must be clearly readableJapanese label easily identifiable part of the product, its not easy to wear torn label:
A. Production Year
B. Design Standard Life (the product is safe under normal use conditions using the standard time period)
C. Use more than "life" of the product, as aging and lead to dangerous measures to preventwarning
The Act's regulation of electronic products for the following product range:
Fans
Exhaust fan
Air conditioning
Washing machine (washing machine does not contain drying function)
Centrifuge (with washing machine integrated with the centrifugal dehydrator)
TV (including cathode ray tube TV)
The proposed effective date of Act April 1, 2009; on April 20, 2008 deadline opinionconsultation. After this notification has been adopted in the revised version will be posted on the "KAMPO" (Official Government Gazette) Gazette.
